Abbisko Therapeutics Co., Ltd. (“Abbisko Therapeutics” hereafter) has recently entered into a contract with Zhangjiang Hi-tech Park (“Zhangjiang” hereafter) on the project of Abbisko Therapeutics research and development (“R&D”) and manufacturing facility construction. As one of the most vital projects of Zhangjiang, an on-site signing ceremony was held at Zhangjiang Life Science International Innovation Summit, during the opening ceremony of International Biopharma Industry Week, Shanghai 2021.

The landing of the facility is another milestone in relation to Abbisko’s strengthening of its R&D layout of innovative drugs as well as its advancement of the industrialization and commercialization of its pipelines. With the kick-off of production and construction, Abbisko is moving towards a new stage of landing of products! In the future, with the help of multiple resources advantage of Zhangjiang’s pharmaceutical industry, Abbisko will be committed to discovering and developing a new generation of innovative small molecule drugs to benefit patients in China and around the world.

After nearly 30 years of development, Zhangjiang has built up a comprehensive biopharmaceutical industry cluster and formed a public service system covering a whole chain from novel drug R&D to mass manufacturing and marketing. At present, Zhangjiang is speeding up the construction of a world-class science city. In the construction of the leading area, it aims to develop the Medicine Valley into the most eye-catching international innovation landmark.

The successful approval of the project is both great affirmation and motivation to  Abbisko.

It is worth mentioning that in the "Award Ceremony for Companies with Outstanding Contributions to Pudong’s Economy in 2021" held recently, Abbisko Therapeutics was also granted the "Innovative Startup Award in Pudong 2020". It further demonstrates the affirmation and recognition of Abbisko Therapeutics by the Pudong New Area government.
